Microsoft’s Windows Insider Program Gets a New Logo – and a New Feature

Microsoft’s recent acquisition of Windows Insider has been hailed as a watershed moment for the company’s new product initiative.

While many have already hailed the acquisition as a win for Microsoft, Microsoft Insider Program users have voiced their opinions about its new logo, as well as the new features that are expected to arrive with the new release.

As part of its acquisition of Insider Program members, Microsoft has introduced several new features, such as the ability to use a single account for each Microsoft product, as outlined in the company documentation.

The program, however, is not yet officially available to users.

According to a new blog post by Microsoft Insider Product Manager, Jeff Zaslow, the new logo is meant to be more inclusive of the more diverse demographic that Microsoft is trying to reach with the Insider Program.

According to Zaslo, the design of the logo was inspired by a quote by author Thomas Wolfe: “People are not the same as the company, but they’re the company.”

“This is a symbol of diversity and inclusion,” Zasloff writes.

“We wanted to show that diversity and the inclusion of people from all walks of life are the foundation of the Microsoft culture.”

Microsoft’s new logo will feature a variety of colors and symbols, including a light blue background, a red border, and a white background.

The logo will be available for both Windows 8 and Windows 10 versions.
